The AdvanceCM Inventories Automation Autopilot Wizard streamlines inventory management by automating actions based on inventory status changes. These automated actions include:
Email notifications to relevant personnel
Automatic task creation for inspections, repairs, replacements, or restocking
Automatic incident creation for damaged or inoperable items
These automations help improve inventory accuracy, minimize downtime, and ensure timely maintenance and replenishment.
Accessing the Inventories Automation Autopilot Wizard
Navigate to the Automations option in the top menu bar.

Click the Autopilot Wizard button.
Select the Inventories option on the Autopilot overlay to access the automation options available for Inventories.

Available Automation Tabs
1. Created Tab

This tab handles automations when a new inventory record is created. Available actions:
Notify AdvanceCM users via email — Select multiple users to notify. Once enabled, an email template will be automatically drafted in AdvanceCM. You can edit the template by clicking the Template button.
Create a task for inventory inspection — A new task will be automatically created with all required fields pre-filled.
2. Updated Tab

This tab handles automations when an inventory record is updated. Available action:
Notify AdvanceCM users via email — Select multiple users to notify. Once enabled, an email template will be automatically drafted in AdvanceCM. You can edit the template by clicking the Template button.
3. Deleted Tab

This tab handles automations when an inventory record is deleted. Available action:
Notify AdvanceCM users via email — Select multiple users to notify. Once enabled, an email template will be automatically drafted in AdvanceCM. You can edit the template by clicking the Template button.
4. Damaged Tab

This tab handles automations when an inventory item is marked as damaged. Available actions:
Notify AdvanceCM users via email — Select multiple users to notify. Once enabled, an email template will be automatically drafted in AdvanceCM. You can edit the template by clicking the Template button.
Automatically create an incident related to the damaged item.
Automatically create a task to repair or replace the damaged item.
5. Inoperable Tab

This tab handles automations when an inventory item is marked as inoperable. Available actions:
Notify AdvanceCM users via email — Select multiple users to notify. Once enabled, an email template will be automatically drafted in AdvanceCM. You can edit the template by clicking the Template button.
Automatically create an incident related to the inoperable item.
Automatically create a task related to the inoperable item for follow-up actions.
6. Depleted Tab

This tab handles automations when an inventory item is marked as depleted. Available action:
Automatically create a task to restock the inventory with new items. All required fields will be pre-filled upon task creation.
