Smart Devices configuration and Automations are managed from the Settings button. You can find the Settings button at the top right, with two options:

-Devices Setup

General Settings
In General Settings you can perform multiple actions. See the screenshot below for details.
Automatic Code Generation
You can enable automatic code generation by turning on the toggle below:
Code Style:
Users can choose the format of device code by choosing below options.
1- Guest phone number: For example if the guest phone number is +334987653 and the selected code length is 4 digits then the generated code will be 7653. The last 4 digits will be used for code generation.
2- Random number: In this case a random number will be generated based on the selected code length.
Code length:
By default code length will be 4 digits but users can customize it by selecting from the available options below:
Code Activation:
Users can set up code activation & expiry using different options. By default code activation date will be check-in date and code expiry date will be check-out date. Users can choose other options as needed.
Notifications:
These notifications are for AdvanceCM users. If a device battery is low, users will be notified through one of the following options:
1- Push Notification
2- Email Message
3- SMS Message
Users can choose one option. Once a toggle is enabled, a Message Automation will be created automatically in the Automations module. Users can edit it but cannot delete it. If a toggle is disabled, the corresponding Message Automation will also be disabled automatically.
Battery Status is Low: When a smart device battery is low, the AdvanceCM user will receive a notification.
Code First Used: When an access code is used for the first time to unlock the door, the AdvanceCM user will receive a notification.
Issues That Require Attention: Notifications are generated in the following scenarios:
Device tampered (someone attempted to open the device)
Device connection is unstable
Access code failed to be set on the device
Access code failed to be removed from the device
Code Communication
Using this toggle, you can automatically send the device code to guests via email as soon as it is generated. You can also edit the message template that will be sent to the guest. If this toggle is disabled, no code will be sent to the guest automatically.
