AdvanceCM now offers a direct API connection with VRBO, making it easier than ever to manage guest communications, update rates, and streamline your property listings. This guide walks you through the process of connecting your VRBO account to AdvanceCM, ensuring a smooth setup.

Important: Invoicing must be done entirely within AdvanceCM — including creating and processing invoices. A connected Stripe account is required. You can set up invoice automations to automate payment collection.
How to Connect
Access the Channels Module
Navigate to the Channels module from the top menu bar.

Add VRBO as a Channel
In the Channels List view, click on the + Add Channel button.

This will open the Channels Overlay, where you can select VRBO and click Connect.

VRBO's Connection Wizard
Once you complete the steps above, you will be redirected to the VRBO Connection Wizard overlay.
Step 1: Introduction
The first step provides an overview of what to expect throughout the connection process.

Click Connect to proceed to the next page.
Step 2: Channel Configuration
Fill in all required details, including your cancellation policy.

Step 3: Rentals Page
Use the toggle button to activate your AdvanceCM rentals that should be pushed to VRBO.
Listings that do not meet VRBO’s requirements will appear in red.

Click on a red-marked rental to view the missing details.
Use the Fix it button to update the required information.

Step 4: Completing the Connection
Click Onboard with VRBO to finalize the setup on VRBO’s end. A VRBO specialist will assist in completing the connection.

Click Done to finish.
