Once you have set up booking fees for your rentals, it’s important to understand how Marriott processes them.
Key Differences:
Marriott has specific rules for booking fees, and certain features in AdvanceCM work differently when pushed to Marriott.
How Booking Fees Work with Marriott
1. Guest Threshold is Overridden
Marriott does NOT support Booking Fees based on Guest Threshold.
Instead, the Guest Included value (set in the Rental HVMI Channel modal) is used.
2. Unsupported Fields
Day of the Week fees are NOT supported.
Refundable fees are NOT supported.
3. Booking Fees & Additional Guest Fee
Booking Fees (e.g., Cleaning Fees) do NOT apply to the Additional Guest Fee.
4. Fee Calculation Differences
Per Night (PN) works the same way as Per Stay (PS).
Per Person/Per Night (PP/PN) works the same way as Per Person (PP).
There is a calculation differences between Marriott and AdvanceCM.
