With the new HOME & VILLAS API connection in AdvanceCM, PMs will not be required to list your rentals on the channel to connect. Your AdvanceCM listings can be pushed to HOME & VILLAS with a few clicks.
Here's how to connect:
Navigate to the Channels module from the top menu bar
Now on the Channels List view click on the + Add Channel button
This will load the Channels Overlay where you can choose HOME & VILLAS and click on the Connect button
If no existing HOME & VILLAS connections exist, then you will see a “Connect” button, otherwise, you will see “Add”.
Enter your HMC ID and click on the "Connect" button
If you do not have an existing account with Homes and Villas by Marriot, to authorize your account, please contact Homes & Villas by Marriott International https://hvmi.tfaforms.net/91. Once approved by Marriot, you will be provided with an HMC ID to get started.
After connecting your HMC ID, click "Continue"
On the step to select rentals, if your AdvanceCM rentals don’t meet Homes & Villas requirements they will be shown in red.
Please ensure your listings meet the necessary requirements mentioned here. If your listings fail to meet requirements, you will be prompted to update the specific sections within the connection wizard overlay.
Click on the arrow to see the missing listing requirements. To update the missing information click on "fix it" and fill in the relevant details.
Once your listing meets all the requirements click the “Create” button under the “Action” column
Edit listing settings and click the “Create” button
Once you are done with all listings click on the “Complete” button

Disconnect from HVMI
Go to the Channels section in AdvanceCM
Click on HVMI in the left navigation panel
Click on the Disconnect button
Enter the Accommodation ID that you want to disconnect and you are done.
