With the Homes & Villas by Marriott International (HVMI) API connection in AdvanceCM, property managers can seamlessly push listings to HVMI without manually adding them to the channel.
How to Connect HVMI to AdvanceCM
Step 1: Add HVMI as a Channel
Navigate to the Channels module from the top menu bar.

In the Channels List view, click on the + Add Channel button.

The Channels Overlay will appear—select HOME & VILLAS and click Connect.
If no existing HVMI connections exist, you will see a Connect button. If an HVMI connection already exists, you will see an Add button.
Step 2: Enter Your HMC ID
Enter your HMC ID and click Connect.

Don’t have an HVMI account yet?
You must first authorize your account by contacting Homes & Villas by Marriott International.
Once approved by Marriott, you will receive an HMC ID to get started.
After connecting your HMC ID, click Continue.
Step 3: Select and Verify Rentals
If your AdvanceCM rentals do not meet HVMI’s requirements, they will appear in red.

Ensure your listings meet the necessary content requirements listed here.
If your listings fail to meet requirements, the connection wizard will prompt you to update the missing sections.
Click on the arrow next to any rental to view the missing listing requirements.
Click Fix It, update the required details, and save.

Step 4: Finalizing the Connection
Once your listing meets all requirements, click Create under the Action column.

Edit listing settings and click Create again.

After completing all listing updates, click Complete.
That's it! Your HVMI listings are now connected to AdvanceCM.
How to Disconnect from HVMI
Go to the Channels section in AdvanceCM.
Click on HVMI in the left navigation panel.

On the Getting Started tab, click on the Disconnect button.
Enter the Accommodation ID of the rental you want to disconnect.

The listing is now disconnected from HVMI.
