A: This is for integrated partners like Operto, when an access code is created through Operto we use this trigger to send out codes to guests.
What is the difference between Codes generated via Operto or AdvanceCM’s Smart devices feature?
A: On the backend we use different services for the Operto integration & built-in AdvanceCM Smart Locks. Also we use different data tokens for these events. There are three things in the Data Dictionary:
|INQUIRY:SECURITY_DOOR_CODE| This will apply to Operto Door Codes
|INQUIRY:SECURITY_SMART_DEVICES| This will get all data for all linked smart devices (working only for manual messages right now)

Devices tab: This will get data for latest device in manual messages, and in the case of automated messages: for the device for which a code is generated.

So if you are using the Rental Access created event, you will use the first token and For Smart Locks, use the others two events.
