Do you want to maximize your booking opportunities through the current day? With the Last Minute rate automation, you can set the number of nights from today that you want to adjust your nightly price up or down.
How to create Last Minute Automations?
To create a Last Minute first go to the Automations module.
Then click on +Add and choose Automated Rates.
Next, go to the Last Minute tab and click on + Add Automation on the Automated Rates Overlay as shown below:
How it works:
The Last Minute Rate Automation modal contains a few required fields.
First, enter the Name and Date Range to which this automation will apply.
Next, select the Rentals for which this Rate Automation will apply.
Enter Days Before: Number of days starting from today that you want to adjust.
Enter Min Nights: The minimum nights requirement for the affected dates
Enter a Flat or Percentage Amount: You can add a positive or negative fee adjustment (flat or percentage) that you want to apply to affected dates. A negative sign in front of the number, will represent a discount.
Example:
Days Before: 5, Min Nights: 3, Adjust Percentage: -50
In this case for bookings starting in the next 5 days, if a guest books, they will be able to book at a 50% lower price than rates for the usual dates but they have to book at least 3 nights. If you want guests to pay more for last minute bookings, you can set a Flat / Percent amount to a positive value.
