The Documents Automation Autopilot Wizard in AdvanceCM streamlines document management by automating email notifications for signers and internal users. These notifications are triggered based on document events such as expiration dates, ensuring timely action and improving workflow efficiency.
How to Access the Documents Automation Autopilot Wizard
Navigate to the Automations menu in the top menu bar.

Click on the “Autopilot Wizard” button.
Select Documents on the Autopilot overlay to access the available automation options.

Available Documents Automation Events
Notify Signer
Time-based Notifications: Set notifications to be sent to the signer X days or X hours before or after the document expires. This ensures that the signer is kept informed about upcoming expiration dates and deadlines.
Custom Notifications: Customize notifications based on specific conditions that pertain to the status of the document. This allows you to notify the signer about the document's progress and ensure that they take the required actions at the appropriate times.
Example:
"This document will expire in 3 days. Please review and sign."
These email-based notifications ensure that the signer is always informed at the right times regarding document expirations.
Notify User
Time-based Notifications: Set notifications to alert users X days or X hours before and after the document expiration. These notifications ensure that users receive timely reminders to manage documents effectively.
Custom Notifications: Customize alerts for users based on specific document actions, changes in status, or deadlines. These notifications keep users informed of any required updates or actions for documents.
Example:
"The document needs to be signed within 24 hours before expiration."
