The AdvanceCM Tasks Automation Autopilot Wizard allows you to automate actions based on task status, including email notifications, rental status updates, and incident resolution. This streamlines workflows and improves operational efficiency within the platform.
Accessing the Tasks Automation Autopilot Wizard
To access the Tasks Automation Autopilot Wizard, navigate to the Automations option in the top menu bar.

Next, click on the Autopilot Wizard button.
Select Tasks on the Autopilot overlay to see all automation options available for tasks.
Created Tab
The first tab in the Tasks Autopilot Overlay is the Created tab.
If a task is created, you can perform the following actions:
Notify the assigned user via email. Once this toggle is enabled, an email template will be automatically drafted inside AdvanceCM. You can edit this template or select a different one by clicking the Template button.
Set the rental status to 'Not Ready'. This indicates the rental is not available for bookings until the task is completed.
Completed Tab
The second tab in the Tasks Autopilot Overlay is the Completed tab.
If a task is marked as completed, you can perform the following actions:
Set the rental status to 'Ready'. This indicates the rental is now available for bookings.
Notify the task creator via email. Once this toggle is enabled, an email template will be automatically drafted in AdvanceCM. You can edit the template or select a different one by clicking the Template button.
Update the status of the linked incident to 'Resolved'.
Overdue Tab
The third tab in the Tasks Autopilot Overlay is the Overdue tab. If a task’s due date has passed, it will be marked as overdue.
Once a task becomes overdue, you can perform the following action:
Notify the assigned user via email. Once this toggle is enabled, an email template will be automatically drafted in AdvanceCM. You can edit the template or select a different one by clicking the Template button.
Reassigned Tab
The fourth tab in the Tasks Autopilot Overlay is the Reassigned tab.
If a task is reassigned to another user, you can perform the following actions:
Notify the new assignee via email. Once this toggle is enabled, an email template will be automatically drafted in AdvanceCM. You can edit the template or select a different one by clicking the Template button.
Notify the previous assignee via email. Once this toggle is enabled, an email template will be automatically drafted in AdvanceCM. You can edit the template or select a different one by clicking the Template button. The previous assignee is the user who was originally assigned to the task.
