AdvanceCM Incidents Overview
Incident management in AdvanceCM refers to the process of identifying, addressing, and resolving issues or events that negatively impact property operations, safety, or the guest experience. This can include incidents such as maintenance issues, guest complaints, safety hazards, accidents, or unexpected disruptions. The goal is to quickly assess and resolve these incidents to minimize their impact on the property, its residents or guests, and the overall business operations. Effective incident management ensures the smooth running of the property and maintains a positive environment for both residents and guests.
To manage incidents, click on the Operations option from the left navigation bar in AdvanceCM, and then select Incidents from the dropdown menu.
Create Incident
In the Incidents List View, you can create a new incident by clicking the + Add Incident button.
Once clicked, the Add Incident overlay will be displayed. Here, you can fill in all the required fields, and then click the Save button to successfully save your incident record.
Incidents Edit View
Once you click on any row in the Grid View, the Detail View overlay will appear, displaying more detailed information about the selected incident.
Details tab
Under the Details tab, you can edit all the detailed information related to the incident.

Custom Attributes tab
Another tab is Custom Attributes, which allows you to create custom attributes such as String, Number, Date, etc. These attributes can be used to save any unique information about the incident that you wish to track.
Click on the Attributes Configuration button, and you can add various fields using different data types, such as String, Number, Date, and more.
Comments tab
The next tab is the Comments tab, where you can store any notes related to the incident's history.
Logs tab
The last tab is the Logs tab, where you can view all the changes made to the incident. For example, it will show if the Incident category or Severity has been changed.

Incidents Search
You can search for incident data using various search filters, such as:
Incident Category
Severity
Status
Reviewers
These filters help you quickly find specific incidents based on your criteria.
