Understanding Vendors in AdvanceCM
In a Property Management System (PMS), a vendor refers to a company or service provider that develops, sells, or supports the PMS software or related hardware. These vendors supply tools that help property managers and vacation rental hosts manage reservations, guest communication, housekeeping, maintenance, accounting, and more.
In AdvanceCM, the Vendors module is located under the Operations section.

Vendors List View
The Vendors list view provides search filters based on the vendor type, along with an option to create new vendors.

To add a vendor, click the + Add Vendor button at the top of the screen (as shown in the screenshot below).
This will open a form overlay. Fill in all required fields, then click the Save button. The vendor will be created successfully.

WhatsApp Welcome message for Vendor
Property Managers can send a welcome message to a vendor's WhatsApp number, either during the vendor creation process or afterward via the Edit Vendor view.
You’ll find the Send Message option in the Edit Vendor view.

After entering a valid WhatsApp number, click on Send Message. A popup will appear with the predefined message.

Automations for Vendor
In both Automation and Autopilot workflows where tasks are created and assigned to users, you now have the option to assign tasks to vendors as well. Tasks can be assigned to both a user and a vendor at the same time.
Examples of Automations That Support Vendors:
1- Task Automation – Assign to both User and Vendor

2- Bookings Autopilot – Assign to both User and Vendor

3- Incidents Autopilot – Assign to both User and Vendor

3- Inventory Autopilot – Assign to both User and Vendor

When an automation is triggered and assigns a task to a vendor, the vendor will receive an email notification containing a link to the Vendor Web App.

Task Assignment to Vendors
In the Tasks list view, you can filter by Vendor to view tasks assigned to specific vendors.

Within the Task Detail overlay, a Vendor Images tab will appear only if the vendor has uploaded images via the Vendor Web App. If no images have been uploaded, this tab remains hidden from property managers.
