How to add listing for Booking.com inside ACM

Creating a listing for Booking.com inside AdvanceCM is highly beneficial for streamlining operations, boosting visibility, and increasing bookings. It saves you time and effort by allowing you to update information more efficiently and accurately within AdvanceCM.

Booking.com Listings created in AdvanceCM will be synced to Booking.com platform instantly. If there is any delay in data syncing, please contact Tokeet Support.

You can add Booking.com Listings under Channels module. Go to Channels List View and click on Booking.com from left hand side options as mentioned in the screenshot below.

It will load Booking.com Channel Details page. Click on Actions button and then choose Create Listing option

It will open Create Listing popup, you can create listing in two ways:

  1. Create Listing using Entity Id

  2. Create Listing by selecting user

Create Listing using Entity Id

1- Enter Booking.com Entity Id

You cannot return once you click the Next button shown in the screenshot below, so please proceed carefully.

You can get Entity Id from Booking.com Extranet as shown in the screenshot below:

2- Once you enter the Entity id and click Next button, it will take you to Property Details tab. Here you can select your existing rental and all relevant data will populate the remaining fields as mentioned in the screenshot below.

3- After clicking Next in the above screenshot, it will take you to Property Address tab

Property address should match the listing address inside Booking.com platform if you choose Entity Id option while creating listing.

4- Once Property Address step is completed. It will take you to final tab and show a success message as shown in the screenshot below.

Create Listing by selecting user (To create an Entity Id)

Another option to create listing for Booking.com via AdvanceCM is explained below. Using this option, an Entity Id will be created and the user can log in to Booking.com Extranet using the user credentials.

1- Select an AdvanceCM user for which to create an Entity ID in Booking.com and then create listing

It will load a form for the user to fill out the required fields and click Next.

You cannot return once you click the Next button shown in the screenshot below, so please proceed carefully.

2- Once you fill out the form mentioned above and click Next, it will take you to Property Details tab. Here you can select your existing rental and all relevant data will populate the remaining fields as shown in the screenshot below.

3- After clicking Next in the above screenshot, it will take you to the Property Address tab.

4- Once the Property Address step is completed. It will take you to final tab and show a success message as displayed in the screenshot below.

The next step will be to Add Unit Details for the created Booking.com listing.

As we are creating a listing in AdvanceCM for Booking.com, to match the Booking.com Extranet data, we must add property name using the Add Unit details under the Editing BDC Listings option for the connection.

How to add Unit Details?

Locate the Booking.com connection on your Channels page and click on it to view the Connection Details page. You can also click the Edit icon next to the connection to see this option, as shown below.

Click on Edit Listing Details option as shown in the screenshot below.

It will open the Edit BDC Listing overlay, now click on the Units tab

It will open the Add Unit overlay. Click on Add Unit button to add unit details.

Using the Add Unit option, you can add listing details. Fill out all required fields and click Save.

Note: Please be sure to check all tabs on the top row and right side panel for the BDC listing and fill out ALL required fields, as shown in the example below.

Once the record is saved, you will see the Property Name visible on the Mapped Rentals tab of the Booking.com Channels page and data will be synced to Booking.com.

Finalizing your Listing

Be sure to check all tabs at the top and side panel and fill out the information for your listing. This includes providing important information such as your rental details, settings & policies, photos and rate plans.

How to link your Rentals with BDC Listing?

Once you have completed all of the information for your listing, you can link your rentals from the "Connection Details" page.

Click the "Link" option available under the Actions button as shown in the screenshot below.

Now select the rental as shown in the screenshot below.

Once all required information is filled out for your listing, you will notice a status on the Connection Details page indicating that Booking.com is working on finalizing the listing. AdvanceCM has no control over how long this step takes.

When the XML Build is complete, you will then be able to change the status in the drop-down to make the property open on Booking.com.

Troubleshooting Rate/Availability Push Errors:

If you encounter errors when pushing rates or availability for the listing, this is likely due to missing information. Please refer to the following error and solutions:

A "Booking.com no products defined" error, typically indicates that there are no room rates or products set up for your property. Here are some steps to resolve this issue:

  • Define Rates: Ensure that you have defined rate plans in your Property Management System (PMS) and that they are synchronized with Booking.com.

  • Check Availability: Verify that there are available rooms and that the property has at least one room rate or product.

  • Update Property Details: Make sure that all property details, including contact information and facilities, are correct and up-to-date.

  • Review Policies: Ensure that there is at least one policy set for your property, as this is required for it to be open and bookable.

    By following these steps, you should be able to resolve the issue and make your property bookable on Booking.com.
